Doug Esteves

As a real estate entrepreneur and financier, Doug has worked in all aspects of real estate gaining extensive real estate investment  experience with Colliers-Tingey & Associates as an investment property broker, and extensive land acquisition and development experience as Vice President of Acquisition & Development for Stone Development Co. Prior to founding Developers Capital Funding,  he was the Vice President of Loan Origination for USA Commercial Mortgage Company–Arizona, and held the position of Director of Real Estate Finance for publicly held Bridge Financial Corporation a subsidiary of New Mexico and Arizona Land Company.

Having participated in nearly $800 million in real estate transactions, his depth of expertise in real estate investment, mortgage banking and real estate development, results in his ability to conceptualize, structure and close complex, opportunistic, real estate investment transactions.

As Chief Executive Officer of Developers Capital Funding, Doug is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities for the acquisition, development and construction of commercial real estate and residential land for development.  As a nationally recognized leader in the private capital lending arena he has originated, underwritten and closed over $400,000,000 in real estate financing transactions. As an individual, and on behalf of numerous partnerships, he has entitled over 3,500 residential lots throughout California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.

Doug is also the founder and managing member of Black Cat Properties, a multi faceted residential real estate investment company. BCP is a direct buyer of residential REO portfolios throughout the western United States.

Doug speaks nationally at industry conferences regarding Commercial Real Estate Finance, Land Acquisition and Development Financing, and Private Capital Lending. He is a frequent panel moderator for national real estate conferences moderating panels on Private Capital Financing, Mezzanine and Equity Financing, and Financing Residential Land projects. He received his Bachelors Degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and has been a licensed real estate broker, mortgage banker and appraiser for nearly 20 years.
